What I’ve learned & what I need to remember to stay active in creating a better world:

Suffering matters. Addressing suffering is The Most Important Thing in my life.

My suffering is real and worth addressing.

Other people’s suffering is real and worth addressing.

I am going to die, thank God, and be released from this realm. Everything I go through here is temporary.

When I take action with my death and my continuation after death in mind, qualities of my character and my spirit seem to take front stage.

    Courage is contagious.

    Truth matters.

When fighting, tune into The Good and amplify it. It’s easy to get lost in The Bad and its energy, but it is The Good that will save us.

Unity is a quality of Spirit. Unity is the most real thing, more real than separateness. On the level of Spirit, separateness is an illusion.

Here on Earth, we live with and work with and suffer from illusion every day. Separateness may be an illusion on the level of Spirit, but it sure seems real; it’s real enough to be important to address.

In the same way, the spiritual process is by definition the most real and the most inclusive process.

But the political process, despite being less real than the spiritual process, is real enough to be worth addressing.
